Patrick Jones: Hi Janice, i just spoke with someone else there. long story short, i change my phone number by accident and asked to have it changed back. i was vieweing available area codes becuase your website is not updated so looking through the area codes on the chnage phone number option shows current available codes. anyway, i accidentally changed my number and asked that it be changed back and they said that it couldnt be. so i understood and realized that i got stuck with my new number (area code) that i accidentally picked. my fault i know. but just as i settled in realizing i can be "ok" with my new number, it somehow has changed by itself again to this number xxx-xxx-xxx. I didn't ask for this reccent change and don't know how it changed. my orginal number was xxx-xxx-xxxx and i acidentally changed that to xxx-xxx-xxxx. how did it just change yet again since talking to you on tech support?

 

Janice: Hi Patrick , good day!

Janice: May I know when was your number got changed?

 

Patrick Jones: in the last few minutes by itself. i changed it myself from the fiirst to the 2nd number by accident about an hour ago. but it changed to the 3rd number by itself just a few minutes ago.

Jeanille: May I know when did you notice that your number changed to another phone number?

 

Patrick Jones: about 10-15 minutes ago perhaps. It had my 2nd number listed in there (the one i changed it to accidentally) and i was preparing an email to my friends about my new number. So i opened magic jack to make sure i was relaying the right number to my friends and noticed that it said "you must restart your magic jack" so i did and thats when this 3rd number came up.

 

Jeanille: Ok. For this issue to be resolved, I need to escalate your issue to the Engineers for them to check on this matter personally. Please provide me your complete name, an alternate phone number, magicJack phone number and the best email to reach you for updates.

 

Patrick Jones: ok. Patrick Jones, xxx-xxx-xxxx is cell, My orginal Magic Jack number was xxx-xxx-xxxx and i acidentally changed that to xxx-xxx-xxxx. Then it magicaly changed to xxx-xxx-xxxx. my email is WEB@KICKTHEFOG.COM

Jeanille: What phone number you wish to use? The original number or the accidentally changed phone number?

 

Patrick Jones: i already emailed everyone saying it changed to xxx-xxx-xxxx so i guess that would be first choice, my original number of xxx-xxx-xxxx would be great also as second choice. just don't want what i have now since it changed itself.

Patrick Jones: When can i expect to hear from someone, a day, week? just want to get an idea.
